Step-by-Step Guide
HOW TO RECEIVE YOUR FREE KLEIN TOOLS PRODUCT!
- If you haven't done so already, please read our terms and conditions. By now you should have received an invitation and registered online.
- To receive your FREE product, watch the video and answer a short quiz. You must pass the quiz to receive your free product. If you do not pass, you'll have unlimited opportunity to retake the quiz; however, you are limited to one failed attempt per hour.
- After you pass the quiz, complete the order form. If the form doesn't load, select "Redeem Reward" on the Klein Crusaders Dashboard. You will receive your tool 5-7 days after the form is submitted.
- Take some time to test the tool in the field! We recommend testing the product for 2-3 weeks before posting and submitting content.
HOW TO SUBMIT CONTENT AND EARN LOYALTY POINTS
- After you've tested the tool, post product reviews on social media and distrubitor / retailer websites. Loyalty points will be given by the types of posts you make (see chart below). Once you're done, submit the link to your post, as well as a screen shot or photo of the post, to earn loyalty points towards FREE Klein gear: www.kleintradesmanclub.com/catalog. Points will be allocated based on the types of content you submit (see chart below).
- Submit content for point retrieval by copying/pasting the link and taking a screen shot of your content (social media post, product review, photo, etc.) and uploading it via the 'Submit Content' link on the Dashboard Home Page.
- Klein Tools will review posts and assign loyalty points (typically within two (2) business days of content submission).
- Your accumulated points are automatically saved and calculated towards valid purchases on our Loyalty Rewards website. You can also access this page via the Klein Tradesman Club home page or via the Klein Crusader Dashboard page.
- As a Klein Crusader, you are eligible to win the Klein Crusaders Grand Prize. At the end of the campaign, the Klein Crusader with the most points (both from personal posting) will win the Klein Crusaders Grand Prize.
- A maximum of 600 points may be accrued and redeemed by a Klein Crusader. Points may only be accrued when the Klein Crusader campaign is active. Campaigns will have start and end dates outlined by Klein Tools before each campaign begins.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU POST CONTENT - USER GENERATED MEDIA GUIDE
- Before you begin posting, please read the User Generated Activity guidelines in our terms and conditions.
- Identify the product you are reviewing.
- Identify yourself as a Klein Crusader by using the hashtags #kleintools and #kleincrusaders.
- Write an honest review of the product.
- Keep language appropriate. Avoid ethnic slurs, discriminatory remarks, vulgar language, personal insults or other similar conduct. Klein Tools reserves the right to abstain from awarding points to account members who post inappropriately.
- It is proper to acknowledge that you are part of the Klein Crusaders program in your post.
- Begin post with: Klein Tools has provided me with free product and additional incentives to provide an honest review of this product.
- Begin videos with the above disclaimer verbally.
- Use your best judgement in areas where there are character restrictions:
- Ex: If posting on Twitter or similar site: consider beginning post with: "Sponsored" or "Ad" which uses 9 or less characters...

- How do I submit content to redeem points?
After you have posted product reviews on social media and/or distributor retailer websites, go to your Klein Crusaders Dashboard and click "Submit Content" to provide a linke to your post, as well as a photo or screen shot.
- If you've posted a video, please send us a screen shot of the post and a link to where the video is hosted. A Klein Tools team member will review and approve points within 48 hours of submission.
- How many points can I earn for submitting content?
As a Klein Crusader, you can accrue a max of 600 points. You can use the points towards Loyalty Rewards purchases.
- Are there guidelines I need to consider when posting on social media or retailers pages?
Yes. Please read our Online Social Media and/or Product Review Guidelines, which is a part of our terms and conditions.
- Who should I contact if I have any questions?

- Where can I redeem points?
Points are redeemable via our Loyalty Rewards website.
- If I already have Klein loyalty points, are the points I earn through Klein Crusaders automatically added to my existing points?
Yes. If you have existing Klein loyalty points from other programs, you may use the sum of all of your points to redeems rewards on the Loyalty Rewards website.
- Will my Klein Crusader points expire?
Yes. Your Klein Crusader points expire 36 months after the campaign end date. This expiration date does not apply to loyalty points earned via other Klein Tools programs.
- Can I redeem my loyalty points as soon as I earn them?
Yes. You can view your loyalty points history on the Loyalty Rewards website.
- What if I fail the quiz?
You will have an unlimited number of attempts to pass the quiz. However, you are restricted to one attempt per hour.
- Where should I post my content?
Anywhere that's appropriate online. This could be via: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. You may also post product reviews on retailer / distributor websites. You may also post reviews on industry specific forums such as electriciantalk.com.
- How do I win the Klein Crusaders Grand Prize?
The Klein Crusader that has accrued the most points from content submissions at the end of the campaign will win the Klein Crusaders Grand Prize. Your points are automatically tallied for you on your Klein Crusaders Dashboard page.
- Why didn't I get points (or the max points) for my content?
Klein Tools has the right to withhold point allocation partially or in total based on several conditions. The post(s) must adhere to the Online Social Media and/or Product Review Guidelines, be posted on a reputable and applicable source (such as, industry specific forums, reputable social media sites, etc).
